    @GaryElCougar

    Those are to hold the player to your goggle strap.

  • GaryElCougar:

    wat r the orange bands for?

  • jamesandthegiantpea:

    @billdelong okay im definitely going to get one, thanks for sharing

  • billdelong:

    @jamesandthegiantpea, my replacement player is still working, though I only average about 2 hours a week use with it now exclusively for swimming. I think it must have been damaged from the extreme amount of running I used to do with the original player.

    @billdelong coolio

    If you read my followup from 5 months ago, you’ll see that I did get a replacement under warranty from the manufacturer after all. So far the replacement unit has been working well, but I limit it’s usage to swimming only so I can hopefully extend the life of the product.

    I am a recreational triathlete and still recommend this product, but don’t expect it to last much longer than the warranty is covered. I also learned that there is no way to replace the rechargeable battery =(

    Can you send an email to support @ chinavasion . com (without the spaces) so we can help you resolve that issue?

  • chinavasion:

    @billdelong

    It is circumstances like these where Chinavasion customers are glad that everything at Chinavasion comes with a 12 month manufacturers’ warranty

  • FranksTechHelp:

    How do I reset unit? red light came on and won’t go off, won’t play, only red light, no flashing when charging, it is stuck.

  • Gaia287:

    well i got this mp3 player.. and its actualy works extremely well.

  • sokker01:

    Men check out the SwimP3 V2 its much easier to put on. No headphones. Also they actually test it under the water not like this one. they just put it in a little container.

  • billdelong:

    The player would intermittently lock up, and I’d reset it. I even reloaded the music from my PC, and then a week later it stopped working altogether. The manufacturer sent me a replacement under the 1 year warranty and it has worked fine since, though I’m not swimming as much. The headphones had to be replaced after 6 months too.

  • HollyTheFireNinja:

    What happened?

  • Gaia287:

    i think i will get one for my birthday they sound like they work pretty well and for the cost i think its a pretty good deal.

  • billdelong:

    My Dolphin just failed after 6 months of swimming 3-5 hours a week. It worked great while it lasted, but expected to get at least 2-3 years of use out of it and was disappointed to learn that there is no manufacturer warranty!
