Wait fοr іt… alarm аt 1:02! Mу camera doesn’t ԁο justice tο јυѕt һοw obscenely *LOUD* tһе “foghorn” alarm οח tһіѕ clock radio іѕ. It sounds аѕ іf аƖƖ tһе filter capacitors suddenly failed аחԁ іt’s јυѕt feeding raw AC tο tһе speaker. I used іt one morning аחԁ іt woke mе up іח a panic, ѕο I devised a more permanent method οf hitting tһе Snooze button.

  • Fuji086:

    @MarantzSt153 yes you are!

  • TheSliderzone:

i use a hammer to turn mine off

  • mannbradmusic:

    Hey, I like that!

I would like to add that the sound of the alarm itself seems to remind me of the old clock radio my parents had when I was but a little boy and I well remember being woken up and scared to death by that same gosh-awful buzzer.

I would like to add that the sound of the alarm seems to remind me of the clock radio my parents had when I was growing up. It had that same gosh-awful buzzer and I was scared to death thereof.

  • musicalboy1995:

those old bricks could probably still work after that

  • Superfrenzy24:

    0:36 Shutup I’m awake!

  • KenMeister1357:

Well I only concerned about that at first because I thought MarantzSt153′s comment was really referring to me.

  • Lukewheldon7:

take it easy man, it probably wasnt even aimed at you

  • KenMeister1357:

LOL You got that right, I suppose, vwestlife. For some reason, I can’t help but feel that I do feel kind of obsessed with alarm clocks and clock radios. LOL I mostly like the clock radios though and I would like to own one for myself someday too since I don’t have one yet as far as I know as of for right now.

  • KenMeister1357:

I hope MarantzSt153′s comment isn’t for me because first off, I’m NOT an idiot and I don’t like to be called an idiot or any other type of name either because I get offended easy sometimes.

  • MarantzSt153:

    Idiot.

  • KenMeister1357:

LOL Okay then, ThisIs2009. I’m glad that you understand then.

  • ThisIs2009:

    No worries!

  • KenMeister1357:

Oh nothing, ThisIs2009. I was only just a little curious at first. No big deal. Thanks anyway for answering back to my questions though.

  • KenMeister1357:

I’m trying not to ask too many questions though, vwestlife. If it is getting a little annoying, then I didn’t know then either and I’ll stop too. Sometimes though, I just don’t know why I always get the feeling that sometimes no one leaves me alone when I don’t want to be bothered.

  • ThisIs2009:

I think “quite” is an understatement :-)

  • vwestlife:

ThisIs2009: In case you can’t guess by now, Ken is quite obsessed with clock radios and alarms. We all have our own peculiar interests, so I don’t hold it against him, although the repeated questions can get a little annoying.

  • ThisIs2009:

    1. I’ve had three, but no longer have any of them, so no.

    2. The alarm buzzer.

    3. I’ve never used the wake to radio function, just the radio as a normal radio. It’s down to personal preference!

    What’s with all the questions?

  • KenMeister1357:

Oh okay then, ThisIs2009. Well, thanks anyway then. By the way, I just have a few more questions for you.

    1. Do you own a standard clock radio for yourself?

    2. What is your most favorite alarm setting on a clock radio? The music or the alarm buzzer?

    3. Also, if you ever wanted to listen to the music setting on a clock radio anytime you wanted to, what are certain times that you would like to do so? Just wondering.

  • KenMeister1357:

LOL Alarm at 0:32! LOL At least the alarm buzzer was taken care of though at the very end. That was really loud. XD

  • ThisIs2009:

I don’t know. All I know is the buzzer is usually fixed at full volume but the radio volume is adjustable for the alarm, same as normal operation. (most clock radios)

  • KenMeister1357:

LOL Yeah. I know how that feels too. Sometimes I’m the same way myself too. The music and the alarm buzzer settings are great and all, but if the alarm goes off unexpectedly and the alarm buzzer or the music starts up with the volume tuned up high, it can really give you a good scare. LOL By the way, I have a question that I’m just wondering about. Maybe you may know. On a standard clock radio, which alarm setting is probably the loudest with the volume up high? The music or the alarm buzzer?

  • ThisIs2009:

funny you should say that, that happened to me with the alarm function on one of my old mobile phones, i reset the settings and the alarm time reset to 12:00 am, turned itself on and woke me up in the middle of the night.

  • KenMeister1357:

LOL Sometimes what shocks me as well, ThisIs2009, is if there was ever an alarm clock or a clock radio and the alarm would’ve went off while I was sleeping and the music or the alarm buzzer was pretty loud. LOL I bet that would even be enough to scare anyone from their sleep because some people wouldn’t see it coming. I have to say that it probably does seem pretty cool though. LOL :)
